sounds pathetic doesnt it.. but I was unsure how they would react, mom mostly.
First my daughter and I had to go be in the style show at Christopher and Banks clothing store. After that we headed to my mom and dad to tell them the "big" news.
Well it went okay. She didnt come at us with a blunt object.. but her first words were "ohh no what happened" I was beginning to think I was gonna have to give her the "birds and bees" speach LOL. I told her it was planned then she said "ohh, well better you than your son" ( my son is 22 years old and out on his own)...
not sure how to take it but at least I told her and it is over. LOL
I think this is the only major obstacle I have... now I can just sit back and let baby grow.

I am not about to burst her (or my husbands) excitement by telling her to keep quiet, so we will just pray all goes well.
Over-40 parents...what we lack in vigor, we make up for with cunning.
It doesnt really bother me.. I am just glad I got her told.
I have a huge support system in my church which have several advanced maternal age moms in it, who all have happy healthy children.
