What shoes are you wearing?

My feet have become pretty swollen this past week Sad  I am still going to work (and walking about a mile to and from!) and it's becoming pretty uncomfortable.  For you ladies with swollen feet, what shoes are you wearing to work?  I'm thinking about buying some Crocs, but am wondering if there are other options out there that are just as cheap.

  • I have loved Toms while pregnant.  They are comfy, supportive, I can wear them all day and my feet don't hurt.

    these and birkenstocks.

I haven't even bothered to try on other shoes.

  • I wear flip flops, granted I don't work outside the home.  My feet actually grow while pregnant.  I'm not swollen but none of my prepregnancy shoes fit after DD and none of the shoes I bought after DD fit right now so flip flops are it.  I'm waiting to see what size I wear before investing in new shoes.

  • My feet aren't terribly swollen (but they are a little), and my work environment is very laid back, so I've been wearing Teva thongs with arch support, and they are awesome.  Not really cheap, though...but probably the last kind of flip flops I'll ever buy.

  • Flip flops! I will be living in these until I deliver. I even went so far as buying shoes 1.5 sizes bigger to look professional during parent meetings and me feet were even more swollen with a few hours of being at work. I'm choosing comfort over anything else.

My Toms no longer fit. I'm wearing running shoes, ugg slippers, or flip flops.  I also no longer care what my feet look like in relation to my outfits...

  • I will be wearing flip flops until it snows and my toes fall off! Or my uggs, whatever I find first!

  • I personally don't think that crocs or flip flops are work appropriate...so I bought black flats in half a size up and wore those a lot towards the end of my last pregnancy.  Today was the first day m feet really hurt and got a little swollen, so I'm going to break them out next week! Obviously if your workplace is more casual, i guess you could get away with it, but I teach teens so I don't want to look like one!

  • I'm a teacher so I am on my feet all day long. I wear these everyday. They expand when my feet get swollen and feel like I'm walking on air. So comfortable! They're crocs but when worn with pants they look like regular ballet flats although I do wear them with dresses too. They have been lifesavers.

  • Old navy flip flops. I can't stand shoes in general, rather be barefoot so those suffice.

  • I've been wearing my Nike banded sandals. Can't even wear my runners right now.

  • I haven't had any probloems with swelling and my work place is really casual. So I just wear flip flops to work!! However, a couple days ago it was really cold out so I went with sneakers. Well when I'm sitting I take my shoes off. I had a horrible time getting them back on so now if it's cold out I wear a pair of sandals(not the ones with the toe thong) with socks!

  • I stand on my feet between 12 and 14 hours a day, no breaks, no sitting (yes, and I am due in 3 weeks!).  I wear clarks, tennis shoes, or trainers.  My feet look like sausages by the end of the day, but it is manageable.
  • Please don't buy crocs. They are an abomination.

I am wearing flat gold sandals, flips or tennies, depending on where/what I am doing. But my feet aren't swollen... I am just feeling lazy!!!

  • For work I have switched from heels to flats.  At home it's mostly flip flops.

  • Find some compression stockings. They've helped me out tremendously. I wear the ones just under the knee and can still wear my flats or whatever shoes.

I'm on my feet 10 hrs a day. You should give it a try.

  • When I walk anywhere I wear Keens and if I have to look somewhat dressy but still need to be comfortable, I wear a pair of Crocs that look like jelly shoes (the style is called Adrina and I got them in black so they look dressier).

    Good luck!
