Hello ladies, I thought I'd introduce myself. 

My name is Holly, I'm 35 and DH is 41, we have been married 8 years. We have a blended family of 4 kids. My son 16, my dd 13, DH's dd 13 and our son 5. DH has been seriously talking about wanting another baby for over a year. I thought we were done expanding our family and I was comfortable with that.

After some serious discussions with my DH I have come around to the idea of starting over again.  :) We aren't telling the kids or anyone else IRL as we feel we don't need that extra pressure. I am nervous just because of our ages this time around and the fact that my DH is taking Effexor for depression. He has already discussed TTC with his doctor who said it should be no problem. Although I've read online Effexor has a negative effect on sperm. He was not on it when we conceived our son. 

If you want to know more, feel free to ask.  If there is a board you think I should check out, please point me in the right direction. Thanks!

    Welcome to the board I hope you stay here with us is brief!
    Me 39 & suspected PCOS, DH 42. Went off BCP when we got married in 11/11, seriously TTC since 3/12.  Six cycles of clomid = BFNs.  Suspected endometriosis & HSG showed both tubes blocked.  Sept 2013 IVF 5D transfer of two perfect embryos = BFN.  Started acupuncture and taking time off to drop some pounds & get healthier before FET in April 2014.

    Thank you both for Welcoming me. I too hope my stay is brief but I know it doesn't really work that way. I've been off birth control since May, I was temping and using OPK's. I've got a pretty good idea what my body is doing. The challenge is with my hubby's meds and their side effects on him.  :(  It hasn't stopped us from trying.
