Bloody snotty nose...

hi,

DS has had a cold for about a week now.  It's his "back to school/daycare cold"... However, today there was the tiniest bit of blood in it when I wiped it.  Should I be concerned?  What could it be? 

Any suggestions for how to get him to not be so congested?  He's super fussy...

Missing my little one lost at 9 weeks on 2.24.13. brokenhearted but not broken... 

d&c 5/21/13... Still Healing, Still Standing... 

MMC discovered 10/2/2013, TWINS... d&c 10/7/2013.  I still miss you, little ones. 

Surgery December 2013 to remove a 10+cm fibroid... Open myomectomy. Benched for 3-9 months... 
Will TTC summer Summer 2014 we hope!

Dear God, Since I couldn't hold my little one in my lap and tell him about you, could you hold him in your lap and tell him about me?

    I can't really help much with the blooy nose.

     But for stuffiness, I usually fill a bathroom with steam right before bed and sit there with LO for 15 minutes.  We also use a benadryl/Vicks plug in in the room.  They last 8 hours and fill the room with menthol.  What also works for us is some vicks on the soles of his feet right before bed (and then sleep in socks or footy pj's)

    Don't be concerned, noses bleed all the time when irritated by stuffiness or dryness. My DS has had blood in his snot a couple times, and I had bloody noses all the time when I was little.

    This. No biggie. Humidifier is a must though.

    Thanks, all.  I was afraid it was a sign of an ear infection, too, as he's been fussy this afternoon.  But he just ate a TON so I'm not that worried now...
