July 2012 Moms

I really can't complain about MIL...

she has been pretty good so far.  i thought she would flake out on us, but she has been babysitting about once a week so hubbie and I could do social things.

I go back to work on Monday and she offered to come up tomorrow and Friday to watch the babies so I could have some time to myself.  (and get some stuff done)

I guess i am pretty lucky in the MIL department!

  • I love my MIL too! She's been watching DS since I went back to work last week. Before then, she would come over to watch him while DF and I had date night and then spend the night and do the night shift so we could get a little extra sleep. Love that woman!

I am also lucky in the MIL department. She actually lives in an apartment in our basement and she completey rearranged her work schedule so that she could babysit for us till January so DD won't have to go to daycare till she's 7 months old. She is not intrusive either and she's not upstairs all the time so she's not right there. It's working out quite well. Even better, she's a trained paramedic so she has a lot of medical knowledge.

    wow, that's awesome!

  • I love my MIL too! She always offers help without offering unneeded advice!
