August 2011 Moms

Do you ever see things and wonder why?

I try not to judge.

But...When I see a mother put her laundry detergent (Big container) on top of the part where you can put a seat belt through while her newborn baby is in it I judge.

Have anything you have seen lately that made you go why?

  • Okay see where the arrow is? That is where she put the large detergent while her newborn baby was asleep and the grocery cart was empty.

  • We recently saw a dad driving around his 3 small children in a car while BLASTING the radio. I mean it was so loud it hurt our ears, can't imagine what it was like in the car!!

    People are idiots.

  • Love your detergent diagram.  People are crazy!

I think my latest "why" is people with their kids speeding through our residential neighborhood.  We have community baseball/football fields up in the back of the neighborhood (no other way in or out), and I'm constantly surprised to see people, with their kids in the car, speeding and running stop signs to get to the fields.  Trust me, I'm no saint when it comes to driving, and I will fully admit to being reckless before I had a baby.  But these people have their kids in the car and are driving like maniacs.  Not only is it dangerous for the kids that play in our neighborhood, but I feel like the parents are setting a really bad example.

  • I saw a man driving with his daughter in a forward facing seat in the front passenger seat.  She looked to be 4 or 5 years old.  Granted, it was an old camper van so there may not have been passenger airbags but geez!  Definitely made me look twice.

Are you referring to my siggy pic??  Eeek, that is definitely a mango lassi and not an alcoholic drink.  Wasn't thinking when I chose the pic that it would be taken that way, my bad.

Hahaha!  I figured but got paranoid and wanted to clarify in case others were thinking the same.  Esp, given the thread topic!
