that her little "girl" is in fact a little boy!
She had an ultrasound today to check on the size of baby since she has GD. Well, what a shocker when the tech pointed out the baby's penis!
I feel bad for my friend just because they have been calling this baby by name, had her room ready and 2 out of 4 showers done with a TON of pink stuff!
Re: So, at 35 weeks pregnant my friend found out
i was convinced this was going to happen to me right up until the day li'l i was born.
OMG!!
I can't even imagine! Like someone above said, just calling the baby by name for soo long and then finding out. It's still a blessing to have a happy healthy baby, but man that's got to be tough.
Me too! We had multiple u/s that said we were going to have a girl. All along, people kept commenting that I was going to have a boy because of the way I was carrying. Even perfect strangers asked if I was having a boy. Totally made me second guess...
Even during labor I was asking my husband to help decide on a boy name just in case!
I was so happy when the doctor yelled out "It's a Girl!!!" I breathed a sigh of relief hahaha...
I think I would die. If I ever here the ultrasound tech say it's a girl, I think my next stop will be the 3D/4D ultrasound place to confirm.

Yikes!
One benefit of Team Green
)
this is why i'm glad i was told a boy early on. if i was told a girl, i would have been nervous.
hopefully she saved the receipts!
One of the many reasons why I stayed on Team Green.
Your poor friend, especially since they'd named the baby
Oh no!
I hope they can return some items.
The first thing I asked at my 35 week ultrasound was: "is he still a boy?"
Thankfully, he was.
