Showers are typically thrown a month before baby is due right? My LO came a month early...so my office shower was literally thrown two days before I had him. Chin up. Give them some more time to organize.
I say yes, if they really did forget about you. Are they typcially surprises?
Kelly, Mom to Christopher Shannon 9.27.06, Catherine Quinn 2.24.09, Trey Barton lost on 12.28.09, Therese Barton lost on 6.10.10, Joseph Sullivan 7.23.11, and our latest, Victoria Maren 11.15.12
Secondary infertility success with IVF, then two losses, one at 14 weeks and one at 10 weeks, then success with IUI and then just pure, crazy luck. Expecting our fifth in May as the result of a FET.
Not surprises. They also forgot my birthday. Usually they decorate or get a card.
At my previous job they often forgot my birthday and anniversary, which they celebrate for everyone. I can understand being hurt, and I dont blame you. As for your shower, you still have time. Mine was the week before I left on maternity leave. Give it some time before you start resenting them. Are they aware of your due date? Maybe they think they have more time.
Yeah, I'd probably be a little hurt too. Maybe someone at this week's baby shower will realize that you haven't had one yet and will get on the ball to start planning it. Or you could mention something when the mom opens a gift that, hey! you registered for that too! and maybe they'll get the hint.
I'm in the same situation (I'm 32 weeks tomorrow). The last woman who had a baby got a shower and no one has brought up throwing me one. I know its because I'm not super close with anyone at work, but still...my feelings are/will be really hurt that I'm not getting one. Oh well, guess we just gotta suck it up and deal with it. Here's hoping to a last minute surprise!

I wouldn't assume twice is forgetting. You could have one of those positions where there is confusion over who is responsible. But it wouldn't hurt to figure out someone you can ask about it regardless.
Re: Office baby shower question
Our office had 10 babies born in the last 18 months, so we've had a lot of showers. They were not thrown in the exact order of due dates.
It's not really reasonable to be upset until you know that there is actually not one in the works, and why.
