But second, I'm worried sick because Baby A only has one artery in his cord instead of two. Has anyone else had a baby with this complication? Are they healthy?

Yes, one of my girls had this is she is 100% healthy. Have you had an anatomy scan? How did everything else look? If everything looks good I wouldn't worry.

Yes, and for some reason I didn't even know about it until I was in the hospital for PTL. (No one ever told me?)
Anyway, my baby b's growth seemed to be just fine (That was a concern of theirs since everything else seemed normal) until maybe 33-34ish weeks when her weight really just seemed to barely increase.
I was due for another growth u/s with the peri at 36 weeks to see if she would do "better out than in," but baby a's water broke before then and I had the girls.
Baby b (with the abnormal cord) had absolutely no issues at all. She was only 3 1/2 lbs at 35w, but everything about her was/is completely healthy. She spent the night in the NICU for observation, but she needed no assistance at all. (Yes, I took home a 3 1/2 lb baby!) She is still 100% healthy, just on the smaller side weightwise. She has actually caught up to her sister heightwise.
I would say - if your doctor doesn't seem worried, try not to let yourself worry about it. They will monitor you appropriately. And congrats on boys. No experience there, though.
I don't have any experience with this, but I just wanted to wish you luck. I'm sure everything will be fine. I know what it's like to worry because of some concern the docs find with one of the babies - so I'll be thinking about you!
I've had many patients who's baby only had 1 artery and their babies were perfect. It's something they watch closely.

DS also had this and he is 100% healthy. They see this in @ 1% of babies in utero, but it's one of those things that's more common in multiples -- closer to 5% I think.
My twins are not born yet, but my baby A also has this problem. He has been growing right on track. MFM said they would watch me/baby closely which they do anyway. I asked this same question when I found out and I got nothing but great feedback. Try not to worry, I know easier said than done.

My baby B has it, and so far, she's been growing on target with her brother. We have another anatomy scan on Wedneday so fingers crossed that that stays the same. In addition, my mom checked the dr's records from when I was born, and the dictation indicated that I had an SUA when I was born. They checked the cord when I was born to try to figure out why I was such small baby. She delivered me at 35w (33 years ago), and they said I'd stopped growing at 32 weeks. I was about 3 pounds and spent 2.5 weeks in the NICU, and then went on to be a healthy human being. And that was 33 years ago.
My DS had SUA. My peris did lots of indepth scanning and did extra growth ultrasounds to make sure that they saw no other abnormalities and that growth was on track. They thought he might wind up smaller than my DD, but when they were born at 36w0d he was 4 lbs 9 oz and she was 4 lbs 2 oz. He's perfectly healthy! My doctors also told me to stay away from Google :-)
After 20 months TTC with PCOS, we were blessed with twins!
They arrived at 36 weeks after PTL and bedrest for 14 weeks.
If everything else looked good on your anatomy scan, then I don't think you have anything to worry about. The most common associated problems are cardiac and renal - both of which can be evaluated on u/s. If there were any cardiac concerns, they would refer you for an echocardiogram at 22 weeks. Otherwise, the only thing to watch out for is slowing growth later in the pregnancy. You and your babies will get through this just fine!

The rest of his anatomy looks great, except for a spot on his heart. Thanks for all the reassurance. I'm so happy to hear about all you mommies out there with healthy happy babies!!

Re: Twin A only has one artery in umbilical cord :(
My son had this also. He is 100% perfect.
My peri said that if there is no other markers, its usually nothing to worry about. He told me not to Google it.
