Hello all! I joined the bump a bit ago and sort of forgot about my account... I'm a new step mama & am adjusting to being an insta-parent. DSD is (almost) 6 and DSS is 15 months as of yesterday. We have a crazy, complicated story but I am absolutely in love with my little family.  I have not met DSD yet (she lives in CA with BM), but I've been parenting DSS along with DH since boyo was 6 months old.  We have him 3-4 days a week & I actually have a friendship with him BM. I would love to make a few new friends on here & hopefully get to know some stepmamas so I don't feel so alone!

    You are definitely not alone! My husband and I got married in March of this year and I gained a 10 year old!! Her mother passed away so we have her full time! It is definitely a major change but we get along very well. I feel very blessed to be a part of her life! We have our difficult moments but so far its been an amazing experience.
