Hi there,
I'm steadily losing weight and would really like to work on my strength/fitness and toning up.
Getting out of the house with 2 children, poor weather, and a husband that works late is really hard.
Sometimes I manage a walk, but mostly I jog on the spot while the girls are napping, or playing. I also throw in some stomach crunches and push-ups. But I would like to have a more focused routine.
I'm familiar with stomach crunches, push-ups, tricep dips, bicep curls, squats, lunges and a couple of other toning exercises, but don't know how many reps or sets I should aim for. Should I focus on upper body one day and lower body the next?
Any suggestions for a good routine or any websites I can check out? I don't have any free weights, but am happy to make use of household things like tin cans.
Thanks
