Baby Henry has arrived

So thursday morning at 3 am my water broke...I was 35 1/2 weeks pregnant. We came to the hospital and were admitted to labor amd delivery immediately. They confirmed that yes I had broke my water, was having contractions and I was 2cm dilated. From that point on I was in labor trying to get the little guy here. Walking hallways and doing whatever I could to get things moving. In 24 hours I dilated to 4 to 5 cms. They gave me an epidural Friday morning that did not work so they tried again and it still didnt work. They say 95 petcent of the time they work...I was just in the unfortunate 5 percent that didnt. So I spent the rest of my labor and delivery going all natural but with no other complications. Henry Jacob was born at 3:55 pm weighing in at 5 lbs 12 ozs and 19 1/2 inches long. He is absolutely perfect. He already has my entire heart and my husband is wrapped around his finger already. I will post pics when i'm not bumping from my phone. Good luck to the Oct. Mommies out there. He was born in September but I will always be an Oct. Momma at heart :
