So as most of you ladies know, DH and I were adopting a baby. She was born on Tuesday and we brought her home yesterday. Perfect little baby girl. Today the adoption agency comes to the house to tell us that the birth mother changed her mind and wants the baby back. They took our baby away. We had five minutes to kiss her and say good bye.
I have had enough of life and enough of all of this. I wish you all the best and pray for everyone here to get their take home baby.
There always seems to be a point that DH and I just can't get to take home a baby and keep it.

There are no words to express how horrible this must be for you and DH. This is just too cruel and no one should have to endure this. I really wish the birth mom could understand how much better the baby would be with you as she is not equipped for this at 16. You'll be in my T&Ps but I don't really know that I believe in P's anymore. Take time to grieve this loss. The biggest hug ever.

Words cannot express my sadness for you and this completely unfortunate situation. And, after all you have already been through? It breaks my heart.
I would honestly jump on a plane and arrive on your doorstep and do whatever I could to make you feel a bit better while you sort through the emotions of this, if it didn't come across creepy from someone you have not met IRL before. I just feel awful and I want to somehow someway help to make it better for you and your DH.
Girls - I truly wish we could somehow do a girls only IFV getaway. It seems we could all use a rally of troops for a couple days of goodness with those who "get it".

I am so so sorry Rachel. That is so ridiculously unfair and heartbreaking. To actually allow you to take the baby home and then for the birth mother to change her mind is just unimaginable to me.
I am very naive about adoption, but at what point is the legal documentation generally completed that formalizes the adoption? I am just curious because I assume it looks really bad for the adoption agency if things fall through - do you at least get whatever money was to paid to the agency back?

Baby B's heart stop beating at 9 weeks 5 days
Our little miracle baby is a boy.
Baby Boy Owen and Baby Girl Avery were born too early on Feb. 13, 2011 due to a pedunculated fibroid, incompetent cervix and suspected placental abruption.

Me= 37 and DH = 41
Dx: DOR, Endo, APA+ (really high beta 2 glycoprotein antibody and high everything else tested), heterozygous MTHFR mutation, positive for lupus anticoagulant, high FSH, low AMH and both tubes blocked (per HSG on 3/8/11)
IVF #1 - long lupron (with HGH, intralipids, lovenox and BA); 4 retrieved, 3 fertilized; ET 2 blasts and 1 frozen = BFN
IVF #2 - a version of antagonist with EPP (with HGH, intralipids, lovenox and BA); 6 retrieved, 4 mature, 3 fertilized, 2 blasts and 1 frozen blast transferred on day 5 = BFN.
IVF #3 April was postponed to May, May was canceled. June/July was canceled. Had a cyst aspiration and then began IVF #3 in August. ER on 8/22; ET on 8/24 with AH. +HPT on 9/5. Beta #1 (11dpo) = 3; Beta #2 (15dpo) = 29; Beta #3 (17dpo) = 60; Beta #4 (19 dpo) = 118. Heartbeat at 6 weeks 6 days =132. Lil is here!
TTC#2: Trigger + TI = BFN; Clomid + Trigger + IUI = BFN.
IVF #4: BCP + MDLF + Lovenox = 7R, 1F = Transferred 1 6-cell embryo on day 3 = BFN
IVF #5: MDLF + Lovenox = 4R, 1F = Transferred 1 10-cell compacting embryo on day 3 = BFN
IVF #6: (New RE): Long Antagonist November 2014 (transferred two 8 cell grade 1 embryos and froze one blast) = BFN
