I know this isn't that name board, but I'd love to know what my fellow december mamas have chosen to name their babies! Or what you are deciding between if more than one.
I like Sophia (his grandmas name) and Madelyn (not sure how we would spell it if we agreed on this one). I was just telling someone else that my husband hasnt told me any names that he likes. He is totally focused on names he dislikes. This is going to be a long process.
For now little guy #3 is Charlie. Charlie Britten, Britten is a family name passed down from my grandfather to my dad to my brother. My brother was killed in Afghanistan so we are honoring him and the other men in my family.
We have not decided yet, in fact, our list is still pretty long. The one name we keep coming back to (which the baby names board unanimously hated) is Saylor.
It was my DH's suggestion and I was opposed to it at first, but it's been over a month and I can't get it out of my head. I can just imagine a sweet, spunky little girl named Saylor. Sigh.
Whatever we decide the middle name will be Claire or Mae in honor of my grandma.
For a girl we are pretty sure she would be: Caroline Constance (after my great aunt and his grandmother).
We have had a much harder time with boys names. He would be either:
George John or George Kevin
Charles (unsure on middle name- maybe John or Kevin)
Cormac Kevin or Cormac John
(George is for my dad and grandfather, John for my dad and both his grandfathers, Kevin for his dad, Charles is a family name on his side- but more distantly, and Cormac is an Irish name we both really like- Hubby is Irish)
We are clueless on the names. DH doesn't like any girls names as well an HATES talking about it. I have a short list of names that I like and I think DH can tolerate. Hannah, Caroline, Ella, Elsa and Elena. We'll probably just taking a similar list to the hospital ans see waht she looks like. The middle name will likely be Marian.
Our little girl will be named Evelan Josephine (Josie) Evelan comes from DH grandad Cleveland and Josie is after DH initials! It took us forever to decide on a girls name we had a boy named picked out for over a year!!

We decided on Kacie Quinn. No family name in her name, but we thought it was super cute and fell in love with it. DH said he was going to call her Quinn a lot

That is a lot of letter L's! I have always loved the name Lily and we added a nod to my sister Anna (even though it will be pronounced on-a). My middle name is Belle (after my mother's mother who died when I was 2yo).
Zoey Louise ( We lost 2 babies and Zoey means Life and we thought it fitting since every thing is going smoothly for the first time, Louise was my grandmother's name )
For right now it is Briley Lou (Polish last name starting with P). Briley because I like it and Lou is my grandmothers middle name. DD's due date is Nana's birthday so it seemed fitting! I'm not 100% commited to it though. Our other option is Charlotte (nn Charlie) James. James is my dad's name and I really want to honor him but it took A LOT of convincing on my part to get DH on board.
Our boy name is Gregory (NN Rory) Martin after our fathers. -- I like my dad's name more but DH said if we name the baby after my dad we have to be fair. His dad's name is Dennis Martin. yuck.
Our girl name is Caroline Rose or Corinne Rose (NN Cora). All are family names. I'm partial to Cora at this point.
on a different note: A name a wish I could use is Xavier. I love that name. Unfortunately I went to Xavier in Cincy and I'm a HUGE Musketeer fan so I'm sure we'd get the side-eye.
