Bed rest gals, what's the high point of your Thursday?

I got my beautician to make a house call, so I got my brows lip waxed today!!! Ahh, so happy! I feel human again, haha.
Ok, and a confession... I cheated today. Not intentionally; it just so happened that my morning "babysitter" didn't show up. So did I call ask where she was? Nope. Had a blissful morning all to ourselves, just me n DD! Can I tell you how wonderful it is??? Other than get us cereal for breakfast get us dressed, I've been a very good girl. Layed down played w DD after bkfst, Layed down through my wax appt, and now am lying on the floor in DD's room playing w her. Shortly I will have to get us some lunch then we'll take a nap together. I SO miss my mornings alone w her! My mom will show up around 3 be here til DH gets home.
Methinks I am not going to tell anyone about this...is that so wrong?

My high point has been....apples with chocolate peanut butter for a snack. How sad is that?! I have been grading papers (I teach...taught? 5th grade and grades are due this week) which has been a nightmare. The sub didn't make sure she got everyone's paper, some are incomplete, missing names...ugh. I know I am being critical, but come on! I can't be there to get this stuff fixed and grades are due tomorrow!
Sorry for the vent! But seriously - apples with chocolate peanut butter are the best!!!
Today is my 4th Anniversary and husband is bringing dinner from my favorite restaurant. That will be the highlight of my day. I hate that I have to spend our anniversary in the hospital, but I realize it is better for LO - even though it has been emotional for me. I really miss being at home.
Yesterday was 2 weeks in the hospital - 11 days until LO gets here unless something changes.
DS peed all over the floor in my room today. At least it was not in my bed!
This is good and bad. SIL is taking DS up to Flagstaff to her farm. Tonight. DH and I need the time to decompress from all the crapola of the day, but I miss DS so much when he's not here. DS will have a blast with the chickens and alpacas and other animals, but... Sigh.
DH will be staying here at night until further notice.

Weddedwife I'll confess too I made an eyebrow appt tomorrow on the way to my u/s, so that's kinda cheating the system. I won't tell if you don't!

Well i got permission to do my maternity photos today, since I have been soooo good and horizontal. Though I think I would have cheated and done them anyways. It was SO much fun. Here are a few of the first ones I was sent. They range from ridiculous to cute. Also DH made cream cheese marbled brownies. I've unofficially claimed 7/8 of the pan for myself. Mmmmm...
I am so jealous of the eyebrow appointments!!! I am DYING to get my eyebrows waxed and a really good mani/pedi. The little things, right?!
I had a friend visit today and she brought lunch...and a gift card to pottery barn!!!

I need my eyebrows done. I look like a wolf. I think I'll wait until around the time of my baby shower and get them done then.
No real high points today. But those pics and you ladies joy today made me smile.
Good news: Boys are measuring 2lb 6oz and 2lb 8 oz.
Bad news: Cervix is barely measuring 1cm, and I'm now on hospital bed rest. Progesterone, nifedipine, and another round of steroids in a few days.
Apparently we're all falling apart again this week. We need to quit it!
I'm jealous of your mat photos knjzacher. I love the one of you changing the tire where DH is tapping his watch. I couldn't do mat photos last time around and was really looking forward to it this time. Didn't work out so well either!

It's my first official day of full bed rest and my hubby stayed home with me to help me adjust to the horizontal life (I don't "relax" very well lol). He is being incredible!
3littlebirds - I also found out today that I passed my glucose test! Woot woot!
i'm jealous of you two. i threw up during my 3 hour glucose test today. i'm pissed.
