I'll start things off. I gained 55 lbs with DD and I've lost all but 7 lbs of it! I'm thrilled. I'm doing a combination of WW and exercising and I've lost a little over 30 lbs. How about you?
I gained 85lbs and have 7 to go...but my hips are bigger.
And we are trying for another baby right now so I don't know if I will be able to get it off in time...hopefully I don't gain as much this next time, if I am blessed to get pregnant again.
What IS baby weight? I'm just a fatty at baseline.
BUT
your math doesn't add up. Don't want to nitpick. But if you gained 55, lost all but 7, then you have lost 48 lbs, not "a little over 30" .give yourself credit where credit is due.
Baby weight, yes...I only gained 20lbs while pregnant (DS was early) because I was already overweight. I'm about 12lbs under BFP weight and 15lbs above the weight I was before IF issues.
2 years, 2 surgeries, 2 clomid fails, 2 IUIs, 1 loss, IVF #1 - 10/25/10 = BFP!, DS is now 3.5yrs!
TTC #2 - 6/12 surgery #3, FET #1 & 1.2 = BFN, 12/2012 FET #2 = BFP! DD is 1.5 yrs!
Surprise! 12/16/14 BFP, loss #2 12/31/14
I can't wait for the "im getting a divorce" post in 5 years or so because your husbands were fed up with your disgusting chair asses from playing on the knot all day and getting fired 4-5 times for not doing any work. you guys are all winners!! ~ Laur929
It took me almost 15 months to get it off, but I've done it and lost a little more on top of that. I only gained 30lbs but after I stopped breastfeeding the weight came back with a vengence. Now that I'm back in my pre-pregnancy jeans, I'm determined not to gain it back!
I gained about 40 pounds. I have around 5 pounds left. I need to start exercising, I hate it so much lol, but I want this fat tire around my waist to disappear.

I gained 85 lbs with DD, I had myself down to 15-20 lbs over pre pregnancy weight in December when I got KU again. After the miscarriage I gained another 10-15 pounds in depression weight. At this point I'm pregnant and stopped caring. I'll go to the gym again in March. Hopefully I'll be down to a size 10-12 by the time I need to go wedding dress shopping, any smaller than that I look anorexic.
I lost it all very quickly. A lot of it was water weight due to pre-e. I had lost the majority of it within a week of DS being born. All was gone by 3 weeks pp.
BUT...I am now about 10 lbs heavier than I was when I found I was pregnant with DS. I'm lazy though. I also eat breakfast nachos. LOL
I have, but I was overweight before. I ended at 13 lbs above pp weight at the end of the pregnancy but I have lost about 99 lbs from the end of pregnancy until now. I still have about 25 lbs to go before I'm at my goal. But I'm more concerned with toning than losing weight now. And I wish I could lose at least 1/3 of my boob size!
I wasn't crazy about my weight before I got pregnant. I gained 26 lbs. with my DD and lost it all but have now gained back about 10 lbs. I need to get some darn control!
I stopped looking at the scale the last month of pregnancy, but I believe I was up a total of 50lbs. It took me a year to get it off and I had to go back to Weight Watchers.
I'm 2lbs under my pp weight right now, and though it's not a number I'm thrilled with, it seems to be my body's homeostasis. Also, my stomach is kinda jacked.
I gained about 30. Lost it all + 10 lbs within about a month of DD being born (BF'ing). Since I weaned, I'm about 5 lbs over BFP weight. It's the suck.
Mom to two beautiful girls and forever labor buddy to the fab lady MandaPanda518!
I gained 25 pounds with DS and lost it all pretty quickly after he was born. The pumping exercise plan worked wonders for me.
I lost another 15 pounds with a lower calorie eating plan, but gained most of it back because I love food. Trying to lose it again by eating healthier and actually trying to exercise.
I hate when my weight yo yos. Oh well.

I gained about 20lbs. with DD and had lost it all within a few months PP. With DS, I gained slightly less and lost all of it plus 10 more by 3 weeks PP.
I thought for sure I'd gain some of that weight back, but so far I'm still 10 pounds less than I was before I ever got pregnant.
Now, I've got about 50-75 more pounds to go until I'm actually happy with my weight. Ugh.
Yep, same. Gained only 21, lost more than that, still have a way to get back to my "normal" weight. Somewhere after T and before S, other stuff creeped on there.
No. I gained 20 pounds while pregnant and then another 15 pounds while DD was in the hospital. So far I have managed to lose 18 pounds. But I just re-vamped our eating habits and started hard core working out so I know the rest will come off eventually. Just in time for me to get my boobs done!
Gained 50lbs and lost 40lbs so far. BUT still had 15lbs from the previous baby. Breastfeeding isn't helping me drop any weight and neither is eating cake everyday.
Yes. I gained 31 but was about 20 pounds higher than I wanted to be since I hadn't lost all the baby weight from my son, but with a combination of WW type calorie counting and two kids who never sit still I lost the other 20 plus 2.
Just don't lift up my shirt and it all looks ok lol
I lost the baby weight, it's the rest that was the problem.
I was a thin, fit college athlete until I had to get surgery on both of my knees and was dropped from the team. I spent 3 months on the couch eating and put on weight fast. After that, I never got back into the habit of exercise, but was still eating the same way as I had been when I was burning the calories a college basketball player burned. In two years, I put on 65 lbs and then just sort of stayed there.
Throughout my other pregnancies, I only gained about 25 lbs. After my most recent loss, I lost 35 lbs, so yes I had lost the baby weight. I was doing weight watchers, an exercise DVD with a fitness ball, and walking. Then I got pregnant with twins. I've currently gained 30 lbs back. I'm hoping the last leg of the race doesn't add too much so that I can get back on track again. I'll never be that tiny college athlete again, but I desperately just want to feel comfortable in my own body.

That's awesome!
I'd like to donate some boob to the needy as well.

Thanks, but I think a lot of it comes from a certain paranoia about food now. Also, that would really be a charity that I could get behind! I would dearly love to donate some boob to someone who really needs them! My back would be thrilled!

See, this is where I was. I even ran and swam until 38 weeks with DS. I used to train between 20 to 23 hours per week. I struggle to fit in 2 to 3. I need to lose 40lbs to get back to this weight. I'm okay with it, to a point. I'm not okay with not being able to do half the physical activity I used to do. This all change when ds spent the majority of his time in hospital between 18m and 5 years, more so toward 5, when we actually had money for food (evil, huh). I should have done something then, in hindsight, but I am choosing now to do something about it. I don't want to model poor habits to my kids. I don't expect them to all be athletes, just healthy.
No - but mine isn't really baby weight. I gained 35 lbs, lost 20 almost immediately and a few more here and there. Then around 6 months pp I decided to gain a bunch of weight and haven't been able to take it off to save my life. So I'm like 28 lbs. higher than pre-pregnancy.
I was at my pre-pregnancy weight about 1 week PP. I attribute a lot of that to the fact that I had GD, so was on a high protein/low carb diet for most of my pregnancy. I also maintained a regular exercise routine throughout my pregnancy (running, swimming, cycling). I only gained about 19 lbs while pregnant, but I did lose some muscle mass since my workouts weren't as intense or long.
Yea, after a deployment to Iraq (gained weight), came home, got KU, and 7 months PP after baby #1, got KU again, yea... haven't lost any weight, probably gained some, and will still be TTC#3 this month. I'll lose weight, eventually.
Yes. I didn't gain a whole lot of weight while pregnant though so it wasn't hard to lose. Both times I only had 8lbs to lose after I left the hospital. It did take quite a long time for my body to shift back to the way it was before kids, though.
I gained 35 lbs with DS and lost ALL OF IT! YAY! Um, then I went back to work and gained 20 lbs back It didn't seem to matter what I did, I just couldn't get rid of it. I was very close to signing up for WW when I got pregnant.
Yes. I gained 24lbs. Lost 12 within 24 hours of delivery and the rest shortly after because my hormones were all whacky and I had no appetite for about a week after delivery.
Yes. I gained 35 pounds with J. I lost it in about two weeks PP due to going back to school at two weeks and stress. However, my body looks nothing the same and I hate the way I look in clothes.
Re: Have you lost all the baby weight?
I gained 70.
I've lost all of it + another 15 lbs.
I blame the stress diet.
And you're on WW? You never talk about it.

I gained 30 lbs.
Lost 25 within a month.
Lost another 10-12 over the next year (5-7 lbs below pp weight).
Put on 5-7 in "summer weight" this summer, so back at my pp weight.

My BFP Chart
Yes, I lost all of it plus 10 lbs more.
And then I got pregnant again
