I like plain, H likes garlic. Our yummy place is also a brew pub with great chai stout and IPAs. I'm on a MSPI diet right now so it's a no go for the foreseeable future. Sadsies.

MoonlitPlumeria & mrebecca, you'd best get your butts to the nearest Indian restaurant and order something delicious. Ask your waiter for recommendations and whatever you do, order the least spicy level of that dish.
If you tear off a small piece of naan you can fold it over meat and dip it in sauce... it's like your own little sandwich. So good.

I don't discriminate. I love all Naan. My favorite is cheese stuffed dipped in raita, vegetable korma or tikka masala. I bet the cinnamon raison naan would be amazing with the kheer at the end of the meal.
So being Indian, I grew up eating naan. My favorite is straight from the oven when it burns your fingers with tons of butter and onion seeds on top.... with urad dal (dal makhani) The idea of stuffed naan confuses me as does sweet naan, but doesn't sound bad. Are you perhaps confusing with paranthas? Those can def be stuffed. Now I'm hungry for my mom's cooking.

Mmm that sounds good. And good plan on the spice level lol. For someone who lives in the south, my taste buds are surprisingly not built for really spicy things!
Re: A pole about Naan.
Matter Paneer with Naan is my favorite
TJs has some good frozen Indian meals and their frozen naan is awesome.
I can't do frozen naan. It doesn't taste right and I can't get it crispy and slightly burned.
If one of you tells me the use frozen naan at indian restaurants I will do somehing.
I love ALL NAAN EQUALLY.
But hold the phone: CINNAMON RAISIN NAAN? YES I AM YELLING. Holy yum.
My Blog
The only place I've ever seen it is at a place in Greenwood. I think sofa knows where I"m talking about.
It was cinnamon and raisins stuffed in naan. It was amazeballs.
Obviously frozen naan is not the best, but it's pretty darn good.
There is a food truck here that sells Naan sandwiches. Nomomomom
(Fez is right too. You know, for a change.)
All I know is fishing pole.

You haven't lived my friend. It's amazing.
I like plain naan and will gladly dip it in any number of tasty Indian sauces

I have leftover garlic naan and raita in my lunchbox today.
It's ok to be jealous, ladies.
Now I know what I'm having for lunch!
I don't know either.
We had a place nearby when we lived in Pennsylvania, but we just never got around to going! I'm kicking myself now!
