Does anyone else ever feel their heart beating in their chest? I actually can feel it sometimes beating, the nurse at my Dr. office said it's because blood is pumping for two now but wasn't sure if anyone else has had this.
Sounds like you may be having some palpitations. They're totally normal during pregnancy because of increase blood flow and progesterone. I had them a few weeks ago and they eventually went away. My doctor said that as long as they're not accompanied by dizziness or shortness of breath, they're nothing to worry about. And staying good and hydrated helps a lot. Good luck!
I've had this too and I've also felt like my heart skipped a beat several times. I went to my family doctor about it around 6 weeks and she did an EKG just to be on the safe side. She said I had a heart murmur, but that I would feel it more now because of the baby. She also said many women feel their hearts thudding in their chests because of increased blood flow.
I'm glad you posted this, I had the same experience last night when I laid down to go to sleep. It felt like my heart was pounding in my chest and freaked me out a little.
