With DS I had low fluid when I went in at 41w (at 40w I was fine) and I hadn't been leaking at all. So it can happen. (My levels were so low they started my induction about 15 minutes later.) I really have no idea, but it sounds like in your case that you aren't leaking fluid.
Didn't they tell you anything at the u/s about the low levels? Something you could do or the cause or anything?
Call to have your questions answered, but you can definitely have low levels for all kinds of reasons (including good old dehydration) without leaking. In fact, just in case, have a glass of water
