Following on from the post below, I noticed that lots of people have ditched the cover. I'm happy to feed LO in public, but I always use a cover. He gets really hot and sweaty though so I'd like to get rid of it if I can. What are you wearing when you BF? My nursing tanks unlatch all the way, which totally exposes my entire breast. Even if I have a t-shirt over it, I have to pull it up to get LO latched. Also, those of you who BF while walking around, how? Do you use a carrier? If so, which one?

Re: What do you wear to nurse in public?
Sometimes I ditch the blanket entirely once he's latched if my shirt is loose and drapey enough. Or I just pull the blanket down so it's not really covering us, just blocking people's direct view, although if they were standing right above me they'd see a hint of skin and DS, which still doesn't bother me.

i just watched this hilarious video ..and i think i am very much the nervous rack as shown.
Love it! She's already ordered!
I wear nursing tanks or shirts that unbutton to nurse (I'm happy to expose my breast in public to feed LO but no way am I lifting my shirt to expose that postpartum belly!). If I'm somewhere that I feel the need to cover up I'll use a large and lightweight blanket (like an A&A swaddle blanket) over my shoulder. It really doesnt add much heat to LO or I.
And I've nursed while on a walk before. It wasnt the most comfortable thing to do but worked well enough. I had on a nursing tank and nursing bra. LO was in a wrap on my chest. I undid my shirt and bra, pull out the ol'boob, and LO latched on. He was a bit higher than my nipple so I had to hoist the boob up to his level; it would have been easier if he had been lower on my torso.
When it's not too hot, I wear two shirts and am mostly covered. ( I'd share a pic but they are on my other comp.)
