Though I'm not ready for another one yet, I am still having a hard time agreeing with DH that this is our last baby. I always made it clear that I wanted to have 4 children, and he never protested or countered until we found out I was pregnant with this LO (which happened several months earlier than we had planned). So, I tried to embrace this pregnancy and birth as if it were my last. But... I still want one more.
IF, and that's a really big "if", DH and I agree to have another baby... TTC won't start until after DS2 is 18 months old. If he's our last, then neither of us will do anything permanent for at least another 3-4 years. We'll just use condoms with charting, or perhaps the Paraguard.

I did last time. I was pregnant when DS was 4 months old. Luckily, I had a super easy pregnancy ( both times) but mentally I struggled with having a second already up until we brought Henry home. I am totally in love with my babies, it was just hard to wrap my head around the fact that our first baby was no longer "the" baby since his brother was here ( if that even makes sense).
I look forward to them doing everything together, taking them to things together and watching them grow up close. We do want one or two more kids, but I am SO done for a couple years. I want to just enjoy my family.
