DS's poop has changed in the past couple of days. For the first month, he pooped after each feeding, the seedy yellow poop.
This week, he has only pooped once a day, and it's been a huge amount, very liquidy, and almost shiny looking...not sure how else to describe it. It is still yellow and somewhat seedy. Normal?
I'm just a little concerned about the texture. I don't see any mucous, but I guess I'm not sure what that would look like. Can someone describe mucous?
He is eating and sleeping normally, and is as happy as can be.
Re: Shiny looking poop?
mucous will look like egg whites mixed in with the poop. You will usually get a fussy baby and potentially blood with it, so I wouldn't worry
Poop is a weird thing. It can look completely different just depending on what you eat.
