Nips... Plain and simple

So, I'm not due until September, but my nipples are getting dry and rough. It's super embarrassing and I put oil on them and lotion and it doesn't seem to be helping. Does anyone have any suggestions about what to use or do to moisturize them and prepare them for breast feeding?

    I'd recommend Earth Mama Angel Baby brand nipple cream, it should help moisturize. As for preparing them for breastfeeding, I don't think there's much you can do.

    What PP recommended and you can also try coconut oil or lanolin cream. I would discontinue using any type of lotion, as most lotions have some type of alcohol in them for a drying agent and/or perfume. Just not healthy for those nips!

    Lansinoh lanolin cream worked wonders for me .
