My original anatomy scan at 20 weeks showed a white spot on the baby's heart. My doctor didn't freak out at all and said it's not a big deal because all my blood work and previous scans completely ruled out Down's Syndrome. I had no markers at all for anything abnormal. I was still a little concerned, so we decided to do another ultrasound at 30 weeks to double check the baby's heart. I just got the results back and my doctor said the white spot is gone and everything looks great! I'm so relieved! I've heard that it's common to see spots, but they go away and it's no big deal if you have no markers for any complications.
Whew...what a relief! ![]()
