I can't decide if I really want to see the movie. I loved the first 3 books, but I was disappointed with the last one, so I don't know if i want to get pulled into the movie(s). Plus I don't know anyone to go with me
Yeah...I was honestly somehow disappointed, even though I didn't expect anything that great. I just thought that it was lacking "something" or that there wasn't enough love story, they tried to hard to play up the other vampires.

Like Margarita, I went in with low expectations, but ended up really liking it. ?I went with some girlfriends and we laughed at a lot of the scenes. ?None of the characters, except Bella, were really how I imagined, but they all grew on me by the end of the movie.
I found myself (and the girls I went with) laughing at parts of the movie that I totally adored in the book. And the running through the forest/jumping in the trees???? I almost peed myself laughing.
Ya it was definitely lacking a lot of the love story.. but like Margarita I went in not expecting much so I did like it. I just fill in the love story part in my head, and feel bad for people who saw it that didn't read the book :-P RP is so delicious that I could never not like the movie!
RP is my real baby daddy, but I'm just not telling DH.
I just thought they didn't build up the sexual tension enough, which is what made the book so good. That being said, I'm going to see it again this weekend and then again when my SIL reads it. lol RP is so hot and I totally didn't appreciate him enough in Harry Potter.
Re: Ok, honestly, was anyone else a bit disappointed in Twilight movie?

I guess I am also jumping on the Twilight bandwagon. MIL gave me the book Sunday and I havent' been able to put it down.
We'll see the movie when I'm done with the book.

i said the same thing- i loved it because it was Twilight- but it was a little meh.
i blame it on the low budget though!

I know I loved him too.. especially in the baseball scene!
PS I totally watched it online the other night.. I had heard it was better the second time around, and it was!
His little grin was just too much for me.
Online you say? Hmmm...sick day with nothing to do ::wheels turning::
