Cars. I just sold my Mercedes Kompressor and bought a Yukon Denali. I have come to the conclusion that I will probably have a car payment for the rest of my life! Some food...Hellmans only and yes, I've had Dukes. Heinz ketchup. Hidden Valley ranch. DH will only eat Kraft brand cheese singles. I only by Nike tennis shoes. I like salon hair stuff and higher end foundation Lancme. I have tried it all and it just works better for me. I will shop consignment stores/yard sales/thrift shops but I will only buy name brand items. I will only wear real leather boots. I'll stop now.
I drive a Mercedes now and sometimes I regret getting it because I don't think I will ever be able to drive anything else as long as we can afford one. I love it. It is so safe. I have the glk and I really, really want the m next.
Vacation resorts, purses, and dog food. I don't feed my dog crappy pedigree type food.
I agree with the dog food. I did a lot of research before choosing Puck's food. First ingredient must be a quality protein, no corn, no sugar, no random fillers.
Oh and NY bagels. I hate when places make bread with a hole in it and call it a "bagel." Sorry, that's not a bagel I'm looking at you Dunkin Donuts
ETA: used the wrong "hole." also, that's what she said
I'm a food snob. I guess you could say I'm into the slow food and "less-meatarian" movements. I do not eat processed foods, and I'm into really good meals. I'm kind of a fangirl about certain chefs like Sean Brock and Mike Lata.
I'm also kind of a book snob, though this makes sense, since it's literally my job to be a literary student and critic. While intellectually, I know it's fine to have guilty pleasures, I just don't see the point in reading poorly-written books.

Food/cooking though less so now that I've had the baby.
I used to be an everything-from-scratch kinda gal, HORRIFIED at the thought of using a box mix for a cake and stuff like that. I made my own sauces. However now I don't have time and I find myself buying things at TJs like "buttermilk pancake and baking mix" for biscuits and whatnot. The other day I made brownies using ghiradelli box mix and they were freakin delicious! I buy enchilada sauce in a bottle now. Stuff like that. I still make my own pie crust though i just don't make pies that often now ha.
Also when it comes to dessert I am snob I guess. I just don't see the point in eating dessert that isn't great/that I don't love. So if I'm at a restaurant and they don't have any of my favorites I just don't have anything. Also at work, when we have lunches and stuff I don't usually eat the cookies they get. Because I know each one has so many calories and they don't really taste great I'd rather not bother, would rather eat something I really love for that many calories if that makes sense.
Not that I'm a diet nazi or anything, just don't get the way people here at my office will just eat anything at all that's going just because its there, even if it's not that delicous.
I have something that will change your biscuit loving life: two ingredient biscuits. It's just self-rising flour and buttermilk or heavy cream (which I usually use instead of buttermilk). Bonus third ingredient: brush with melted butter before baking.

Oh, also: booze. I'm not in college anymore. I will not drink the cheap shiz. My bourbon of choice is Makers' Mark, but I could *easily* get into even more expensive stuff. Goal in life is to have a bottle of Pappy Van Winkle.

I was going to simply state California but the other replies reminded me about several other things I am snobby about. I'll add baby carriers to the list.

oooh this reminded me of another one. West Coast, baby. All the way. **ducks and runs for cover**
For me, it is makeup. I guess that spending my days applying it to others, I have done extensive research on all brands that I use. I will back up my back up with back up when it comes to makeup. I have everything from drug store brand to $500 cream. And I will tell you why I use this and not that. Yep sure will.

Can you please do an "ask me anything" post where we can pick your brains on what to buy and what not to? I love that you know all of this!
Cheap wine. I know all the best cheap wines, and I'll look down my nose at you if you prefer a cheap wine that I feel is inferior to my cheap wine. lol

get out! That's less ingredients than when I use the baking mix!!
I am going to try this.

I'm a carrot cake snob- It must meet the following criteria for me to eat it, or I'll look the other way and not waste my calories: Shredded carrot (duh), walnuts, raisins, Cream cheese frosting (none of that cheap sugary icing crap), it needs to be MOIST and it shall not be too spicy.
I'm a chai snob, I will pretty much only drink the brand "David Rio" the other brands are too spicy.
hm...I have spice issues it seems
I also agree with NY bagels, I moved from NY to MA and I miss my hometown bagel store.

Manners, tequila, bagels, Greek Italian/Sicilian cuisine. If you're not saying your pleases and thank yous, we have an issue. Tequila isn't like vodka all is not created equal. Bagels because I'm an obnoxious New Yorker. And I grew up in a Greek household where everything was made fresh and from scratch. I've been mastering Italian/Sicilian cuisine ever since hubby and I got together my MIL gave my homemade pasta her approval a few weeks ago, which was no small feat!

I feel like if I list everything I'm a snob about I'll seem super snobby. Here are some.
Food: I generally buy only organic dairy products, vegetables and fruit (the exception being if it's from the local Farmer's Market).
Jeans: I love J. Crew, Sevens and J Brand. I have Sevens that are 9 years old and I still wear them, so I figure I get my money's worth.
Handbags: I only buy quality handbags, but probably only get one every year or two (especially since lately all I carry is a diaper bag). I am a huge Rebecca Minkoff fan.
I'm late to the game, but whatever. I'm a snob about education and etiquette.
Education: not everyone is right for college, and that's fair. But there are certain things you should know. And if you're going to talk to me about politics, actually know what you're talking about--please don't just spout off stats you read on Wikipedia.
Etiquette: can't write a thank you note in a timely manner? Ridiculous. No excuses.

Wine and food and Walmart. I hate Walmart, and Walmart brand. My MIL buys Walmart brand food and I can't stand it, especially the cheese.
