Enjoy the ride. Pick up the book "What to Expect When You are Expecting".
You could spend the next years of your life getting tips and opinions from other people..there is so much info! lol Congrats and yes I have the book and love it. GL
Where to start.. there is so much that people could give you tips on. I would focus on the pregnancy experience for now rather than once baby is here.
1) Most people start with morning sickness around 6/7 weeks.. if thats so enjoy the next week eat what you can! lol (I hope you are one of the few who escape it)
2) Enjoy your sleep now... LOVE YOUR BED. Before long you will be peeing a 10000 a night restless sleeping while pg isn't uncommon and lets then not forget sleepless nights once baby gets here!
3) If you have a sex drive use it! it comes and goes with the blow of the wind lol
4) The worry begins now and never ends from the time you get pg to when your LO is here. Bleeding/spotting can be normal call your OB if you are concerned.
Finally... Sit in your home alone? do you hear anything..?? thats silence. This will likely NEVER happen again! i'm sure you'll love every minute of it but you forget what it's like to be alone..
This is the most amazing experience I have ever been through. Enjoy every minute of it! Congrats!!

Thanks for the info I already pee like 3 times a night. I do have a question I got my blood work done for free but how do I set up a doctor appointment if I do not have insurance

This, but don't read about the things that can go wrong unless they actually start happening! Don't want you to be scared!
How are you supposed to know what to look for unless you read those sections? ;-)
Pregnancy is a lot more fun if you aren't worried about every little thing. Reading about complications just gives you more of a reason to worry about nothing. Most of the time your body and your doctor will tell you if something is wrong.

Unless you want to pay out of pocket for prenatal care (in which case, pick any doctor you like), you need to get health insurance or pursue alternatives like Medicaid. WIC is another good resource for uninsured pregnant women, though it's not medical care.

Okay and how do I do that if I cannot go to the doctor to prove pregnancy?
Perhaps these should have been things you thought of before having a baby?
This.
You ARE aware that there are some out-of-pocket expenses with a kid, right? (Spoiler alert-- you will not get everything you need at your shower.)
Pay the 75 bucks to pee in a cup at a doctor's office (or go to a free clinic. No, they will not try to talk you into an abortion) and have them fill out the forms confirming pregnancy. Voila! Insurance! Courtesy of the taxpayers.

^This. Any pharmacy should sell tests that prove you are pregnant. I'm Canadian so I can't tell you any ways to find medical help but that should be your number 1 priority. Try your states health website?

Well, you seem to have internet access, so perhaps check out the Medicaid website to find out how to apply? I am by no means an expert on this sort of thing, but I don't believe that you have to be pregnant to apply for Medicaid.
Seriously, if you're going to take care of a child you're going to have to learn to take care of yourself as well, not ask internet strangers what to do.

See if there is a Family Planning center near-by. It varies from country to state to city what types of resources there are. There are some programs that you can be a part of, like WIC. Check with the Dr. office to see if they have any recommendations.
I dont know if anyone has mentioned it yet, but expect crazy dreams. That is honestly what wakes me up. I haven't had problems with peeing a lot, but I am a nurse and am used to holding it in for about six hours. Good luck!
thank you. but to some of you women wow I cant believe you would judge like that. I thought this site was saposed to be helpful. I understand that it was unplanned but I am trying to figure it all out. me and my fiance took procautions but they dont always work so dont judge me. I was just wondering its not that big of a deal as I think so any ways. But thank you for all the women that were nice and gave me tips

I believe everyone is helpful here. Prenatal care is important. Maybe you should not stick around the bump because this is tame compared to what I've seen.

I hope you have a lot of money!
In all seriousness, if you're married, you need to get on your husband's insurance or it's going to be ridiculously expensive.

Okay there's a lot going on here... So lets make sense of all of it:
1. A lot of OBGYNs are affliated with hospitals. Hospitals give free (or pretty damn close) care to those that need it. You must show proof of hardship. Then the hospital will give you the care you need.
2. You can go to a Planned Parenthood and get the care you need at a discounted rate. Again by showing proof of hardship.
3. Having a baby is expensive. Not just for your healthcare but also taking care of your new born. Do I need to make a list of how much it'll cost? https://www.babycenter.com/baby-cost-calculator Maybe that will help you. Either way. START SAVING!
4. If you can't handle the bullsh!t on this site then go to a different forum. There's plenty of pregnancy forums. These women are awesomely snarky. Sometimes it's funny, sometimes it's brutal. Sucks if you are at the end of the poop stick.
5. Good luck with your pregnancy. Do some research with your local doctors. You will be amazed by how helpful some of them will be financially.

Wow. If you dont have anything nice to say, say nothing at all. A lot of you women are just plain nasty. What makes you better than her? Leave the girl alone. She is starting a conversation, asking for some interaction, things to expect. Cut her a break. People like you make me sick. You are NO better than she is. Goos luck hun. Happy and healthy pregnancy. Ignore the idiotic comments.

Calling us nasty idiots is different how?
My post was reactive. Also, No where in there did I call you an idiot. Brush up on your reading hun.

Well I made several comments, none of which I'd call nice.
I spend way too much time on the bump, my reading skills are pro.

Well, she did ask what to do since she was uninsured, and she did get quite a bit of helpful advice, and I sincerely hope she takes it- every mother and baby deserves good prenatal care, and the OP needs to advocate for herself and her baby to get it. She also got many thoughtful responses to her original question. I don't know where you're getting "A lot of you women are just plain nasty" as most of the responses were positive ones.
I'm quite frankly surprised that there wasn't more "nastiness." If you think this is bad, you may want to find another forum to hang out in- I hear iVillage is pretty unoffensive.
