Wall decals

I'm still not done decorating DS's room! What is your experience with wall decals? Are they easy to put up/take off? Do they look good when up? We don't have anything above the crib so that's where I'm thinking of putting them.

I've bought all mine from etsy and most have worked great. I forgot to check to feedback and after I had problems with one, went and saw that she had a in f negative feedback and the decals not working.

I have some decals on his wall, they are cute, but the ones that are within hands reach near his changing table are peeling off one by one. J likes to peel them while I change him. His fingers are so fast that I don't even realize he already has a corner under his fingernail, then he rips them off. We bought the decals from Target a while back.

We got ours from Etsy too and it was a little time consuming to put up - DH did it, but it wasn't hard. (And he really enjoyed doing it)

I've got 2 from Dali Decals... I have one of DD's name inside a scrolly design ( was a bit harder to put up, and has a couple folds in it but are only noticable if you're looking for it) and another of the quote "I'll Love you Through and Through, yesterday today and tomorrow too" I've also gotten some decals to decorate my stand mixer. I like them.

I haven't tried to take them off, but I do know that when we put the first one up we didn't wait long enough for the paint to set and when we pulled off the plastic paper it ripped off some of our paint

I looks at some in the decorating department at our hardware store and they warned not to put them where babies could reach them, as they could peel them off and swallow them.

I know those warnings exist for the dumbest of the dumb but it scared me off all the same. FTM problems.

Ok, I don't feel so bad now. We just painted and put up her decals on Sunday. Moving in March is only part of my excuse. I think it is really fun and added a lot. I like decals.

Tree decal

Here we painted the limb and grass and the rest is decals.

he has a monkey hanging off a tree and it was easy (and fun) to put up. It went up when I was 8 months pregnant and I haven't had a problem with it at all.
