New Rule: You wake him up, he's all yours

Ben was sound asleep.  His little face angelic in the peacefulness of sleep.  I was relaxing and getting ready to work on my homework for two courses that just started up.  Then H decides he needs a sandwich.  One good cupboard bang and now Ben is wide awake and fussing like crazy.  And I get the "I'm trying to eat" excuse.  Well, I'm sorry, but YOU WOKE HIM UP!  You deal with getting him back to sleep.  Grrr......

    Hubby just did this to J, too. He had just fallen asleep, and it had taken more time than usual because of a late nap. Hubby walks in and starts talking, and suddenly sleeping baby is all wide eyed and excited that he heard his daddy. Cute. But not what you want half and hour after he is usually asleep. Hubby is now putting him back to sleep.

    I am on the "I have been on E duty for 18 horus a day for the last four days while you had to work late so it's your turn" plan. And then she needs to nurse. FAIL.

    Seriously. Why are men's boobs useless? What kind of evolutionary fail is THAT?
