For my first we got pregnant my second cycle off birth control pills.
This pregnancy took us 5 months/5 cycles. I was also freaking out since it happened so quickly last time.
Baby dust to you!
December 2011- Trans-abdominal Cerclage placed. Praying this new baby sticks and does not require bed rest!
29 weeks of bedrest & Cerclage at 14 weeks.
With DS#1, it took three cycles. This time it took two. I had been, however, charting for about 6 months prior to actually TTC to try and get used to my cycle and keep an eye on my O date.
Have you been charting/temping? I highly recommend it! Fertility Friend is a fabulous tool to use.

It can take a healthy fertile couple up to a year to get pregnant even with good timing. The human reproductive system is inefficient at best, each month you have about a 20% chance with perfect timing.

Do twins run in either family? Or do you believe it was the Clomid?? I keep teasing my husband we are having twins bc of the Clomid. first appointment friday, 9 weeks then
I went off BC in June, we had two cycles off BC before I got pregnant, but we were not really trying the first cycle (not temping or charting or anything).
6 months the first time, but it ended in m/c. 6 months later I got pregnant with my first son. We never tried to avoid after he was born and 19 months later I got pregnant with #2. This time around it took 6 months again.

We got lucky on our second cycle (ie. the second month), though we've had our struggles (read: vaginismus) and weren't ever sure we'd get to the point we'd be able to properly try to have a family.
We were kind of trying before that, but the vag was saying "No way!" to poor hubby. What a relief we got beyond that diagnosis in enough time to start a family together (phew).
I'm 34, hubby is 42. We started trying in April, got pregnant & miscarried in May & just got pregnant again in August. I am and always have been very fertile & I know my schedule very well. I have 2 girls, 15 & almost 10. I also miscarried before my 2nd child & then got pregnant the following month. This will be hubby's 1st. I go to the dr tomorrow for blood work. Really hoping this one sticks :-)
Oh honey, you have nothign to worry about. It took us 14 and this is our first. I'm sure it will happen soon but IN understadn the frustration more than you know.

Ditto! It took us just over three years and three attempts at IVF cycles.

This one- 18 months; was diagnosed with unexplained secondary infertility; as in, there was nothing they could find wrong with me or MH to explain why it wasn't happening.
Something like 60% of women get pregnant within six months and 80% get pregnant within a year. I would highly recommend using the Fertility Friend Web site if you do not already.
It took us three months.

Thanks for all of the encouragement everyone!
I have been on Fertility Friend since May but my O day has varied. We've tried to plan accordingly, but it just hasn't happened yet.
I appreciate all of you being so supportive!
