Little man slept all night in the toddler bed! AW

Ok, I have to share, because I'm so freakin excited! :)  Ds seems to have given up his crib all by himself. 

A little backstory:  So this weekend, dh and I went out of town to watch a baseball game.  Ds went to stay with my mom and stepdad.  I brought the packnplay, but mom said she wanted to try for him to go to bed in the twin bed in the guest room.  Well, he went to bed at his normal bed-time, and slept all night in the twin bed.  Mom said he didn't get up once.

So last night, dh and I decided to take the crib rail off his bed and turn his bed into a toddler bed.   He went straight to bed last night and didn't get up once!   I guess he gave it up all by himself.

We tried the big boy bed right after he turned three in June, and it was an utter disaster.  He screamed and fought for 3 days, that we finally just put the crib rail back up and decided to try again at a later time.  

Yahoo!!

    wow, that's great!  I can't believe he stayed in his crib this long.  I'm glad the transition went well.  When we transitioned DS to a toddler bed, it was 8 weeks of crying every single night.  He finally gets in bed willingly and stays there w/o crying and STTN.
