12 hrs in car doesn't sound fun at any point let alone at 7 months pregnant. You'll need to plan a lot of stops so I'd guess it'd be more like 13-14 hrs. Personally I'd keep it closer to home or fly.
I recently took a 12 hour trip, and though I was only 22 weeks, my sister was 27 weeks along. Both of our OB's just told us to make sure we were drinking lots of fluids and taking breaks every 1-1.5 hours to walk and move our bodies because the closer you are to your due date, the higher the chance of getting a blood clot. It makes the trips longer, but it's do-able.
I think stopping and taking breaks is the biggest thing - I know I'm only 21 weeks, but we just took a long flight overseas with lots of other littler trips in between - I had to drink even more water than usual, and my ankles got pretty swollen by the end of the trip. I got some compression socks that really helped on the longer flight, although they are of course not very attractive, haha!

This. I would talk to your DR. before you go to find out what they recommend. Mine wants me to take breaks and walk around also to stretch as best I can while in the car and massage my calves/legs. I don't know if the recommendations would be different for being that far along while traveling. Mine also wants me to stop traveling 6 weeks before the baby is due.

Yes all of this. I will be moving at 30 weeks and it is a 16 hour drive. I will be taking tylenol, I will have lots of pillows, lots of water, and frequent stops. Its going to be even more fun with our 2 year old
I'll be flying to see my parents at Thanksgiving, I'll be at 32 weeks at that point. My doctor said it was fine as long as I wore compression socks and made sure to get up and walk around every hour on the flight. Also, drink tons of water. That being said, I'm dreading the thought of being huge and trapped on an airplane flying across the country! Just make sure you stop frequently and you'll be fine.
I think you will be fine, I am living in Asia and am flying 20 hours to come home 2 months -I'll be 32 weeks on the flight back- before the birth (as its likely the last time I'll be able to make this trip for a looong time)...and my dr here (and my US dr) both said I should be fine, just to get up often & walk around, drink lots of water and make sure I call if I have any kind of bleeding etc leading up to this trip which I havent since one incident at 14 weeks.
Re: travelling
