Did you give the singleton a name that went with your multiples' names? We have a baby due in March, and I am kind of torn on this.

Re: If you chose matchy names and then had another child
We've had this discussion too since we're trying for #3. I don't know that our names are matchy, but do both start with the same letter, mainly because the only two names we could agree on last time both started with C. When I was pregant with the twins there were two girl names that we liked that both started with C so if we have another girl we'll consider using that. If we have another boy we're going with a family name.
Basically just approaching it that we'll want the names to all flow together when I say my kids' names outloud, regardless of the multiples factor.

About me 2007: Started TTC. 2008: OB prescribed clomid, went to RE and was Dx with PCOS. 2009: IUI #1 w/follitsim and trigger = BFP. B/G Twins born at 33 weeks. 2012: TTC #3, Round 2 of Letrozole w/TI = BFP, missed m/c at 8 1/2 wks. Currently on the bench as we make plans for a new home. Anxious to start TTC #3 within the next year!
This is us. DD is Alexis, our twins are Bentley and Drake. Not matchy but I feel like they are all "different" names. Nothing plain and over used.
honestly, how I looked at it was that they are going to individual adults out on their own (and not 'associated' with each other) way longer than they will be kids that are associated with each other so I really didn't care about their names 'matching', I wanted names that fit our likes and that I thought would serve them well as adults as well as children. Their names I suppose are similar in style but I think that is probably the case for most ppl regardless of trying to make them go together- ppl just tend to gravitate toward a particular type of name, whether biblical, traditional, familial, trendy, super unusual, etc.
