Tips or tricks to get baby to open wide?

Hi! Looking for ways to get the LOs to open real wide when latching on. I try the one where you stroke the nipple slowly from the nose to the chin and tickling the top lip with the nipple- but my girls just aren't really opening up that wide! Thanks!

I'd try the above suggestion!

Also, sometimes you just have to physically pull their chins down after or as they are latching. Make sure too that you are leading with their chin to latch on and then hooking on the top lip vs. heading straight on the nipple.

It is really hard to recline and feed twins if you're trying to tandem. I used that position with my oldest but can't even get started with two. Try pulling the chin down. Show baby the wide open mouth, they may mimic you. Be sure and massage their jaws and help those muscles relax, after all they are working so hard. And most of all keep trying. Newborn mouths are so small, sometimes it just takes time. GL!
