Im sorry ladies... This is my first IUI and I am still trying to learn about all this... My husband said to me tonight that my nipples looked thicker and bigger. Is this part of the HCG shot too?
There are a lot of things that could cause that to happen. No one has the same side effects from meds either. I would advise you to not look into everything little thing your body does during the 2ww and just wait until test day. I know this is easier said then done but "symptoms" won't tell you anything. It will just drive you crazy. Try to relax and you will know a true "yes" or "no" on test day. Good Luck!!

There are so many things that can be a symptom of PG as well as just a symptom of AF on the way with various hormone levels. And each one is different for each woman. I know the first IUI is exciting, and I do hope you are a "One and done" gal. But as someone who's been on this roller coaster, I can only try to stress you to try and stop obsessing. I know it's much easier said than done, and very very hard to stop...but seriously, you'll only make a BFN that much harder on yourself if you keep this up and it's not your lucky cycle.
Again, I agree with Kati. Getting a BFN is hard, especially on medicated cycles and especially on your first when you "just know" its got to work this time. Believe me, I've had 4 failed IUIs and 2 other Failed Femara + TI cycles. Its hard not to get your hopes up, but you have to know that being on meds messes with your hormones, so you may have stronger 2ww symptoms than during just a regular old unmedicated cycle.
Good luck, but please stop fishing... at least that is what if seems like you are doing. We are all for cheering you on and hoping for the best, but there is no need for a post for every new symptom that pops up.

If you had the HCG shot done, you have to wait up to 14 days to from the shot to test or you can get a false positive. I had it done and yesterday was 12dpHCG 10dpo and I got a faint positive. My BBT looks good and my mind sees all these symptoms so here I am alllll excited about it and it could be wrong... Wait hun because the medications could be getting the best of us :-)
