My DD had a fever for 2 days after her 2 month shots... should I expect the same from the 4 monthers? It's unfortunately on labor day weekend and I'm not sure if we should make plans or not.
For me, he screamed, nursed, and was sleepy for the rest of the day. Thats it. And that was exactly how he was when he got his 2 months. For us, it was the exact same 3 shots.
Our pedi said the 4 month shots are easier on the babies compared to the 2 month shots, despite the fact they are identical to the 2 month shots. My LO screamed after the second shot but calmed a lot easier compared to the first time around. She was tired and a bit fussy but was back to herself a day or so later.

With his 2mo he got a slight fever, and he didn't get that with the 4mo so that was good. However he was MUCH crabbier, more tired, and overall a mess. BUT, he is also teething and his tooth was really bothering him that day too, so that added to it.
For my DD she cried a little bit at her 2 month appointment (less than 2 minutes), but at her 4 month appointment she screamed for 10 minutes . She never had a fever, knock on wood. I hope your LO feels better soon.
They were the same shots and she had the same reaction afterwards. Slept pretty much for 2 days and then was super fussy for 2 days after the sleepiness.
Same amount of crying during the shots but a much better day after. We gave probiotics this time since she seemed to have tummy troubles after her 2month appt.
He didn't run a fever or even act fussy after the 2 month shots. After his 4 month shots he ran a low grade fever and was very fussy.
This. The day after sucked for us. Super fussy and some projectile spit up to go along with the fever. DD was the same way, just fine after 2 months and feverish and cranky after 4 months.
Re: Were the 4 month shots better/worse/the same as the 2 month?
Worse for us.
