Any nicknames for your LO yet?

I know some people have some sort of nickname for their little one til he /she is born. Do you already have one? If so what is it and how did you come up with it?

I have been using "little firecracker" since he or she was conceived just after the 4 th of July.

The first couple of days after we got our BFP I kept calling baby a zygote and DH did not like this! So I was like how about Ziggy and it "stuck" so baby is now Ziggy lol

I like the sound of "Little One", but rarely use it. I'll talk to it and say "kiddo" though. We really don't have a regular nickname yet.

haha that's cute ^^. DH and I haven't been calling ours anything yet, with my first pregnancy we called my son peanut while he was in the womb lol

we call ours 'tadpole' since we are doing a frog/pond themed nursery. DH and i have a long-standing inside joke about treefrogs && my grandmother is European and one of her terms of endearment for me is 'little toad' (but in Serbian its jeba). It sounds weird I know, but she thinks its odd that some people say 'pumpkin' or 'sweet pea'

Not sure how I started this, but I call our pets the hobos, so I've been referring to this little guy as a hobo, too. With love!

I'm pretty lame so far. I just go with the fruit of the week. Right now it's our little blueberry. Poppyseed was hard to get past though. I liked that one.

Thats what my husband does too. Right now it's called "the blueberry" I call it Baby, or baby bean

Baby dragon, egg, or peanut if I don't want to explain the dragon thing. DHs nickname for me is Dragon. If I am the mama dragon, baby is my egg.

Bruinhilda is what we call the baby. We are both hoping it's a girl and my DH jokingly said he wanted her to have a good German name so that is what he calls "her". I just sometimes nickname the baby Brunie.

I just finished a series of books ( don't want to ruin the ending of it, if you haven't read it so I won't name the books), but she called it Lil' Blip. Since I got the u/s picture at less than 5 weeks, that's exactly what it looks like and it stuck..

Our nick name is Munchkin. DH said that when the time comes to announce at the office he wanted to bring Munchkin donuts into work and tell them it's because he's having a Munchkin. And it just stuck :

When I was pregnant with my daughter, we called her the "Ute Monster" because at our first appointment at 10 weeks, her little nubby arms and legs waving all over the place. It was easy to imagine her saying "rawr, RAWR!" lol. We are calling this one ute monster 2.0.

This one I just refer to as bean.

DD2 was Penelope after Penelope Garcia on Criminal Minds, mostly because DD1 is Abby and DH likes to say we named her after Abby from NCIS. Not true by the way.

Mostly, "The Beep", sometimes "Gummy Bear", and this week "Johnny Appleseed". We have fun with nicknames. I'm sure this baby will have tons before he/she is born.

No cute nicknames yet.... usually we just say "the baby". I admit... on occasion I've corrected myself when referring to the baby as "it" since we don't know the gender yet haha

We have just said "the baby" so far, but I'm sure we'll come up with a nickname at some point. We'll also probably refer to the baby as Baby A for our last name since we are unsure if we are finding out the gender.
