For me it was secondary infertility and 18 painful months of let-downs, including a miscarriage.
Good luck with that.
Sorry Weez.
Yea, sorry if this seemed a little b!tchy OP. I'm still pretty sensitive about all this and asking what the "trick" is kind of rubbed me the wrong way.
Thanks for the love, crammy!
Hey there. Im a SIF grad too. It took us 18 mo to get my bfp for Jeremiah then bam my body decides it knows what to do and here come 4 unexpectedly. I have such a special place in my heart for the SIF board. They got me through a lot of dark days. It's nice to have a place to belong even though I already had 2 kids. I wish I kept up with the girls from 2 years back. I hope a lot got their babies too.

With my first pregnancy, my OB office did the first u/s at 13 weeks, followed by the 20 week anatomy scan. Unfortunately, i got an early u/s at 8 weeks due to spotting- which showed a missed m/c.
At my new OB office, they do an u/s at first appt as part of the 'confirmation of pregnancy' appt. They usually dont take you in for the COP appt until you are 6-8 weeks along. I went in at 4w5d (bc my cycles are long and based off my LMP i really should have been like 6w4d). They did an u/s and could see much, so i am scheduled to go in for another COP appt during my 7th week to check things out. She wanted me to come in during my 6th week, but i pushed it back bc i want to see the baby after 6w4d (the day my first baby passed). Also, my new doc is sensitive to my needs regarding my past loss, so she said she would try to 'do what it takes' to ease my mind during the first tri. The only thing i think that would ease my mind is daily ultrasounds
BFP #1 4/10/12, lost at 8 weeks. BFP #2 EDD 4/18/13. Its a Boy!
this is my first pregnancy and the doctor i go to offers them at every visit. I met with OB from first visit at 5 weeks. I think it's a doctors preference and maybe has to do with the state you live in.
Re: How are you guys getting all these USs?
