  I have the Maxi Cosi Priori and love it but it looks like they are discontinuing it. It's a great car seat.

  We have this one but we got it on sale for closer to $130, I think. If you are planning to keep it rear facing, it is great because the tightening knobs are on the side, not up against the seat! It is so much easier than the kind have the tightener against the seat!

  We have the Evenflo Momentum 65. It's consumer reports best pick for the money. We really like it though I heard the main issue people have with it is that it is big and heavy so if you like to travel with it, it might be difficult. But it's super easy to install, and Griffin really likes it.

  I personally like the GRACO my ride 65 or GRACO Natilus (sp?)

  I was looking into the ones for $100 or less to get one as a spare, but decided against it because  it seemed like all the lower priced ones came with lower weight limits, which would mean down the line we'd have to get yet another car seat or booster.
