I have a friend with a singleton whose water broke at 20 weeks. She was able to make it to 32 weeks (hospitalized on an incline) and her little man is thriving at 3 months old.
This is nice to hear. Although the thought of being hospitalized for three months makes me want to throw up a little (as this three days is WAY MORE than I'm comfortable with). I know it's what would be best. Today is the day in the hospital where all I'm doing is sitting, no testing, no scans, just sitting, hooked up to an IV with antiobiotics and fluids... waiting for tomorrow when I'll have another ultrasound to see if anything has changed then going from there. I may end up in a high risk hospital out of town (40 miles from home). Sure miss my dogs, my bathroom, my shower, my bed, and wearing clothes!
Glad to see you post and also the encouraging stories from other mothers. My heart goes out to you, mama. Continuing to send my best wishes to you and the babies. ((hugs))
