2nd u/s - no heartbeat

Went in for my second appointment this morning. After not finding the heartbeat on the doppler the nurse told me it might just be too early (11w) and that I'd get an ultrasound. For some reason, I just knew it wouldn't be there.

The doctor couldn't see anything with the first probe so he used the transvaginal one on my abdomen and we could see a little gummy bear after some searching...but no heartbeat. Doctor said it probably happened about a week ago. He said he thought something might be up when I mentioned my nausea had just stopped completely a few days ago.

I go in for a D&C tomorrow morning. Would appreciate your thoughts and prayers. I thought I was safe after seeing and hearing my little bean at 7 weeks.
