I got a hard water strip test today and it said my city water is hard. Any recs on what to buy?
Also, my GF is using a cloth wipes warmer and loves it and the cloth diaper store women also said she used a wipes warmer...I was planning on getting a squirt bottle of water and using dry wipes. What's your opinion? If I use the warmer do I just put water in it or do I have to use a solution of some sort?
Thanks!
Re: Hard Water and detergent ? and wipes warmer?
I have hard water. I use Tiny Bubbles and have had no issues.
As for wipes, I use a plastic sandwich container, and pour a little water over the wipes so they are moist and use them like that. Never used a wipe warmer.

I use a wipe warmer and Love it. I fold up 25 wipes put them in there and use Ruby Moon wipe bits, I also add two drops of tea tree oil to avoid mold/mildew. When I rewet the bottom pad I use around 4 drops of TTO in the hot water. I've NEVER had a problem with this routine in 14 months.
I keep a stack of dry wipes next to the wipe warmer. I find I like a dry wipe when she has a real explosive poo to get the majority of it off. We also dry her off with one after we wipe her - so the only rashes we have had have been medication or food related(antibiotic - then the one time she ate 1/4 cup of blueberries - long story) related. It may seem like more work but it is just a few seconds and I truely believe it has saved her from some nasty rashes.
