Sooo....I'm back in the hospital -UPDATE

I hate this new mobile format! I typed a detailed story and it wouldn't post. Azzholes.
Anyway, I'm back in the hospital. At almost 3 weeks post partum I'm in L&D. Turns out, a piece of my placenta was unintentionally left in my uterus during delivery. So my body tried to get rid of it last night by bleeding it out. And I hemorrhaged again...at home. After I fainted from the blood loss, DH called 911 and I was taken to the ER. I had an emergency D&C at 4:30am. Apparently, i kept bleeding some after it. So I have a weird catheter in with a balloon in my uterus to stop the bleeding. Thank God it seems to be working. If not, I could be having a hysterectomy today.
So if you have any good thoughts to spare, I'd really appreciate them.
Update: The balloon seems to have worked! After 12 hours with it in, very little blood came through the catheter. So I got it taken out a few hours ago. I'm sporting the sexy hospital mesh underwear and diaper sized pad right now and the bleeding is still totally normal for having hemorrhaged and had a D&C in the past 24 hours. I think I'm still in shock by what happened. It was probably the scariest thing that's ever happened to me. Even scarier than my delivery complications. At least I was in an OR and surrounded by Drs then. I'm pretty sure DH is traumatized by me fainting from blood loss right in front of him. I don't think he realized how serious I was when I told him I didn't feel right. And on a happier note, they wheeled me up to the NICU to kiss my babies good night on the way to my post partum room for tonight.
