1st Trimester

Dizzines

I am about 5 weeks and the past 2 days I have been getting dizzy spells. Feels  like the room is spinning. Is this normal in your first trimester?

Re: Dizzines

  • I had these too around 5 weeks. Mine slowly started to go away, but I still get them every once in a while.

  • I've also been feeling that way. It's normal, just vessels dilating since your ute is expanding and changing. Scary when its happening though!

Make sure you're drinking plenty of water and eating well.

    I married a ginger.

  • I get that way from time to time, too. I blame our blasted 100+ Texas heat to most of it! Drink lots of water.

  • Lurking from 2 trimester :D

I had dizziness all throughout my first trimester. My doctor said its a form of morning sickness, and should go away come 2 trimester :) Which it did.

  • I'll be 9 weeks tomorrow and I've been having dizzy spells for about 3 weeks now... doesn't matter how much water I drink or what I eat so you aren't alone!

I've been very dizzy during this pregnancy. It started around the time of my BFP at 4 weeks 2 days. It seems to be a little better the past couple of days. Very normal and I can relate.

I also have been feeling dizzy and/or lightheaded at times.  It will come out of no where.  Ive been told that this is normal for the first trimester due to all the changes with the blood vessels/circulation.

  • Yeah. For me I think it might be blood pressure related..not sure. Either way it sucks, I hate vertigo.
