Question for those who use/used snuza monitors...

I love the idea of the movement sensor monitor. With DS, we used the angel care deluxe and loved it. However, since we plan on having the twins in the same crib (due to space issues) in the beginning, some of you have recommended the snuza monitor. I checked it out at the store and love that I could still have movement sensors on them in the same crib. My question is, where do you attach it to them? Does it clip easily to the outside of a sleep sack or thick pajamas? My babies will be born in winter so they will most likely be in the thicker sleep sacs. Sorry if this is a silly question but it's been on my mind trying to figure out where you clip these to the babies.

Re: Question for those who use/used snuza monitors...

  • We used the Angelcare movement sensors in one crib until we separated them.  The Snuza monitors just seemed like such a waste to me.  They are expensive and once the babies get old enough they can just pull them right off the diaper or clothing you have them clipped on.

The Angelcare monitors can still work with 2 babies in the crib.

    The bolded part isn't true.

I also have Angelcare monitors, but in 2 cribs, because that's the only way they work.  If you kept 2 babies in one crib, one could stop breathing, and as long as the other continues breathing, you would never know there was a problem.  The alarm wouldn't go off because it would still detect movement from the other baby.  Each baby needs its own monitor in a separate space where the other baby's movement can't be detected. OP, I think people clip Snuzas on diapers.

  • I have the Snuza Hero and I love it.  I would definitely recommend it for twins in the same crib.  They have a YouTube channel that shows how to put one on and a few other things like how to replace a battery, etc.  I can't say enough how highly I recommend it for you.  You can find their site at www.snuza.com or on facebook.com/SnuzaUSA.  On YouTube I think you can just search for SnuzaUSA and it will come up.  Good Luck!!
