Dr. Browns nipples- Wide Base vs Standard???

Baby #2 is coming any week now and I need to get nipples for our bottles. I only had to buy a small "starter kit" of bottles for DD for at the sitters, and I just went on amazon to buy replacement level 1 nipples and it seems I have a choice between "wide base" or standard. I don't know if my bottles are wide base or not! Can someone tell me how to figure this out? 

 

This feels like a really dumb question : )

Trying for #2 since July 2010
BFP 8/1/10, missed m/c, D&C 9/15/10.
BFP 1/8/11, chemical pregnancy.
BFP 3/4/11, measured behind all along, no more HB 4/18/11. D&C 4/29/11. HCG didn't drop, Repeat D&C 6/17/11; confirmed molar pregnancy 6/23/11.
Forced break, including two Hysteroscopies in October to remove retained tissue.
BFP 12/29/11! Betas @ 10 dpo = 85, 14 dpo= 498, 22 dpo = 7242
Heard HB 1/24/12. 144 bpm!

    Chances are you have standard.  That is the 1.5in or so opening.  The wide is more like 2+ inches.  I think it is a relatively new product if that helps!

    I think starter sets are usually standard size. I bought the wide mouth bottles separately for DS over 2 years ago and Prefer them.

    Agreed wtih PP, you probably have standard. You could always take your bottle into BRU or Target etc and eye it up or ask for help just to be sure.

    Thanks ladies...the bottles were purchased 3+ years ago so if the wide-base are a new product then thats not what I have : )  I'll just bring a bottle with me when I go to Buy Buy Baby. Thanks!
