I went in on a Monday night for my induction (to start the antibiotics). Induction started Tuesday morning, boys were born Tues evening and we left the hospital midday that Thursday. So we were there 3 nights but left less than 48 hrs after the boys were born.
I was induced Sunday morning, had them around 2, went home Monday around 6pm. 24 hours isn't atypical in some hospitals if you don't have any complications, 48 is more common (in my experience with deliveries, doesn't matter if it's twin or single).

I was induced early Tuesday morning, had the babies Tuesday afternoon and we went home Wednesday afternoon!
But we had no complications whatsoever, it wasn't my first vaginal delivery, and the pedi (who we already have a great relationship with) said she was fine with it as long as we brought the boys in for a checkup that Friday.
With my first son, I had a 4th degree tear and so they wanted me to stay longer. He was born on Friday afternoon and we went home that Sunday.
Went in Friday evening for induction. Labor really started Saturday afternoon, babies born Saturday night/early Sunday morning. We went home Tuesday afternoon.
They wanted to keep the babies an extra night and allowed us to stay as well.
I checked in on Thursday. Was told on Friday I'd be having the girls. Checked out Monday afternoon. BUT I had lots of complications and they had to get me stabilized before I could leave.
Induction started Saturday evening, twins born Sunday evening. I was discharged on Tuesday but one of my boys was not, so we were all allowed to stay another night with him in a pediatrics room since I was breastfeeding.
Saving money while raising more kids than you bargained for!
