First ultrasound! Had to share

So I had to share with someone, since we are not telling family yet and I am about to die..... we had our first ultrasound today at 7 weeks 1 day and we saw one baby and the heartbeat. So exciting I cried, and it was immediate. I think the anxious worry and excitement just got to me. My husband and I have done IVF and this is our second cycle. We are so thrilled, and it has made everything worth it just to see the little flutter.

 I will tell you I feel like each step is another anxious worry and wonder. After the transfer, I worried about the Preg. test, when that came back positive I worried about seeing a heartbeat on this ultrasound. I guess it will continue forever even after the baby is born.Smile

 Anyway, I'm new on here and an excited to read what others have to say and are experiencing. Plus its great to blab here when I am sworn still to secrecy.

 

TTC since 6/2010. DH SA 6/2011= low motility, morphology etc. 9/2011- DH chromosome testing= y chromosome microdeletion IVF#1 4/2012 standard protocol with ICSI. ER-5/10 mature ET 2 on a day 3 none frozen 4/23/2012- Clinical pregnancy IVF #2 7/2012 Flare protocol (longer lupron). ER 10/14 mature. 2 frozen at pronuclear stage, one cultured and frozen at blastocyst. ET 2 on a day 5. 7/23 positive preg. test!!! 8/13/2012- 7 week 1 day ultrasound= 144 HB/M one baby found!     TTC since 3/2011 Adenomyosis, LPD, hypothyroidism. 
    BFP on 7/20/12 after 4 cycles Clomid + IUI 
    2 large subchorionic hematomas & no heartbeat at 7w6d   
    D&E 8/18/12 Sonohysterography found septum and necrotic tissue.   
    Hysteroscopy to remove both 10/5
    IUI #5-7 50mg Clomid + trigger = BFN  
    IUI #8 Femara + Bravelle + HCG + Progesterone = BFP 3/27/13
    Beta 1 (13dpo) = 169  Beta 2 (17dpo) = 1073  No heartbeat at 9w3d. 
    D & C 5/10/13  Triploidy 69 (paternal inherited)
    IVF #1 with ICSI and PGS 11R 8M 5F 2 biopsied/frozen
    PGS results = 1 with trisomy 13 & 1 good embryo for FET 
    FET #1 EV, estrace, nitro patches.  Cancelled due to thin lining
    FET #1.2 oral estrace, f'ing nitro patches and no delestrogen.  Transfer 12/31. BFN
    PAIF/SAIF welcome
    Surprise BFP on 6/13/14  Our only unmedicated bfp ever.
    Beta #1 339  Beta #2 649 44 hour doubling time

    Congrats! You're right, there's always something to worry about and it doesn't end after you give birth. But it just shows how much you love your LO!

    Congratulations!  I completely understand the fears (some irrational) with pregnancy after IVF.  I hope you have a smooth pregnancy!
