Re: Cramping and back pain

  • Do you know if your uterus is retroverted at all? Sometimes when it's tipped backwards, even a little, it puts pressure on your lower back and causes pain.  Even if it isn't, it could be your uterus expanding and moving and pushing your organs out of the way. If it really bothers you maybe call the doctor to see what they have to say. Good luck and hope you feel better!

  • When I had the internal ultrasound, they had me lift my booty in the air. I was assuming maybe because my uterus was tilted or something. But she never told me for sure :/

  • I had it until about week 8.5 and still off and on... they say its normal because your uterus is growing!
  • I have this. My dr told me it was notmal and that I should just try eating more bananas since the potassium should help with the pains.

  • I actually had an early ultrasound at 6 weeks 4 days because my cramps were SO bad. It was worse than period cramping but no blood luckily. Our ultrasound was great however and my dr said its just stretching pains. We had a follow up appt at 7 weeks 6 days and baby was still looking great with a strong heartbeat :) cramps are scary but hope that helps!
