Weekly morning sickness?

I am 15 weeks and for the past 3 weeks, I have had morning sickness and thrown up my breakfast on the Sunday of each week. I am totally fine the rest of the week. No morning sickness at all (since I've started my 2nd tri.). Has anyone else experienced this crazy clockwork?

Re: Weekly morning sickness?

  • Is your schedule different on the weekends? If you sleep in later and have an emptier stomach, that could make you sick on those days.

With my first, I only got morning sick on weekdays because I had dinner and went to bed much earlier.

  • Yes! Well, not clockwork like yours, but I'm pretty much on a weekly schedule with getting sick! So strange!!

  • Yes but mine is the opposite, I have been getting sick through the week then feel better on the weekends. I'm guessing it's something along the lines of what juliabug said, I go to work at 530 am till about 6 pm between coaching and getting ready for the school year that I get out of routine and tired then I start feeling crummy. On the weekend I am more aware of resting and getting food when I need it making me feel a lot better.

  • For several weeks I felt the worst on Fridays.  My mom chalked it up to being the end of the week and my body was just done.  The past few weekends I have felt great but on Monday I am miserable.  I'm hoping tomorrow isn't a repeat.  I think the weekends are better because my kids are special needs and require a lot of work but my husband is around on the weekend to share in the duties.

  • Yes! For the past few weeks, I've only gotten sick once a week (today was my lucky day! Ick!), I was wondering about this too. Makes me feel better that I'm not the only one!
